Richard, 40, joined the VFD in September of 2004. His favorite truck is the Rescue Unit and enjoys being driver or crew. Since joining the department Richard has taken First Aid/CPR training as well as having T.D.G., WHMIS, and NH3 certification.

Richard is married to Tracy and has one daughter Jada, and a new son Carter. He enjoys playing golf, hockey, baseball, camping and the outdoors. He is currently employed with AgPro Grain.

"I enjoy socializing and meeting new people. We are new to Vegreville and look forward to serving the community and surrounding area through the fire department and the various activities they take part in. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and strive to provide a healthy, happy environment for my family."
