Kevin, 26, has been with the VFD since 2007. Kevin has completed Flag Training, Vehicle Extrication, Standard First Aid and CPR level "C", WHMIS and H2S Alive Courses. He works for the Alberta Research Council in Vegreville as an Engineer in Training and has his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering form the University of Alberta. His MSc dissertation was entitled "Flammability Hazards of Fuel System Leak Testing" and he has 2 papers published with the Society of Automotive Engineers on automotive repair shop leak testing fire hazards and prevention. Kevin is also a NFPA member and volunteers with the Red Cross Disaster Management Team.

Kevin is engaged and has no children. His interests include many outdoor activities, sports and reading. Kevin is looking forward to contributing to the VFD and the community for many years to come.
